Visit To China: I will be attending a trade fair in Guangzhou (Canton) China from 17th April . Several of you have already expressed an interest in having volume work custom-made (indented) in China. There are definite advantages in having orders produced entirely in Asia. You can create a product that is totally unique and really distinguish your business from your competitors. Indenting enables you to choose colours, fabrics, styles and branding solutions that are not readily available here in New Zealand. The price per unit is extremely favourable and enables smaller businesses to compete in the promotional and uniform markets with "The Big Boys". As some of you are aware we already have an agent in China and we are both keen to expand our dealings and build on this reliable and quality conscious relationship. Price Review: After a careful review of costs we have increased our prices for embroidery and associated charges by 5% effective 1st April 2007. Our minimum invoice charge is now $25.00 + GST, the surcharge for less than twenty units is now $15.00 + GST.I trust that you understand that a variety of increased costs and a legislated extra week holiday for all employees has necessitated this increase.
