Last month we were asked to reinvigorate the New Zealand Coat of Arms (CoA) as part of a national uniform project. The New Zealand CoA contains heraldic symbolism in relation to our geography, industry, and heritage. Many New Zealanders are unfamiliar with our coat of arms as we do not use it as frequently as the Australians do. The Aussie CoA is used on the playing shirts of most sports teams we seem to prefer variations on a fern.
Given our investment in digitizing technology, our digitizer's skills and experience and the latest embroidery equipment we have been able to insert far greater detail into our rendition. Pictured below are; the previous uniform version, the official coat of arms, and our updated version.
