Summer 2010 Update:
We have returned from our Summer holidays to find that our market seems to have awoken from it's slumber. After a year of hibernation corporates both large & small appear to be more confident and have finally realised that some of their staff are looking a little shabby and need a spruce up. I think we are not alone in finding debtors a little slow to pay at the moment, the 'money-go-round' seems to be running out of steam! Hopefully the upswing will correct this in the next few months.
New Arrival: As most of you Tracey Kennedy has started her maternity leave. She delivered a little girl called Felicity on 25 January and both are doing well.
Tracey is intending to return when she is ready and in the interim her tasks have been divided up amongst other staff members who have extended their hours. Maree Butcher maree@monograms.co.nz will now handle most of the invoicing, Ingrid Swaney ingrid@monograms.co.nz adds customer re-orders to her existing new sales role and Kathy Morton kathy@monograms.co.nz is overseeing stock ordering from suppliers. It will take us a while to settle into our new routines. Please let me know directly if you have any concerns. It is important to know if these arrangements are not meeting your needs.
Delivery: We have a number of clients who seem to be in a great hurry. We have a reputation for quick turn-around. For embroidery our current turnaround is seven working days. For screen print turnaround is two working weeks. When we have to both embroider and print a job delivery can be as long as three working weeks. Most of our supply warehouses are located in Auckland we order as required, therefore delivery to us is usually at least two working days. While we do our best to meet client requirements and occasionally work miracles we are incapable of achieving the impossible. Often we have made promises to other clients that prevent us from squeezing other jobs in at short notice.
