September 2006 Update: It looks like we are finally finding some warmer weather, and Christmas is not far away. It is time to start thinking about summer promotions and end of year give-aways. Please get in touch with us now we would be happy to submit some no obligation ideas to you.
Client Focus: Reworking a New Zealand Icon We have been working with the Department of Conservation at Aoraki Mt Cook to redesign a badge for the centre to sell to visitors. Using a variety of sources including postcards and existing promotional material we developed a series of images. The final badge design is pictured below. The main difficulty was establishing a new and unique design. The central image of the mountain is fairly static, at least since December 1991 when a massive rock fall sheared 10 metres from its height.
If you are considering a new brand image we strongly recommend that you or your graphic designer has a brief discussion with us as part of the development process. Many designers give little or no thought to how the graphic will transfer to embroidery or screen print when developing each logo. This may well be a vital part of your marketing mix especially if staff uniforms or promotional clothing are an aspect that makes your business service more tangible.
