| Spring 2009 Update:
Apparently the recession is nearly over, a number of our clients have noticed a distinct up swing in their market and there seem to be some positive signs for many. However the high New Zealand dollar isn't helping exporters, including the wine industry which looks like it will face a tough year despite what is expected to be a great vintage.
Some have removed the padlocks from the vaults and have started to spend on uniform & promotional items again. We have also started handling lower priced items such as pens which have allowed firms to still spend a little without over investing in marketing merchandise. As always we encourage you to maintain a presence in your market and we can certainly find the right item to meet most budgets.

Tracey Kennedy will be familiar to most of you as the friendly face or voice at our front desk. Tracey & her husband Nathan are expecting the arrival of a baby in February next year.
It is likely that Tracey will leave on maternity at Xmas she will be missed while she is away and we hope to see her back when she is ready to return.
We recently embroidered a bespoke armchair in conjunction with Andrew Hopping of Montreaux Furniture www.montreux.co.nz . The embroidered centrepiece is the Campbell Clan crest. The original artwork had a few inaccuracies but our embroidered finish elicited the following comments from Montreaux's distributor in Hawkes Bay; "I have just had customer in to see Eastwood chair and she is delighted with the chair and crest. She asked me to pass on a message to you all - job well done. She has also suggested that I can take customers to see the work if ever needed."
Original artwork provided on left, our accurate embroidered version centre, the beautiful finished piece on right.
