The process of converting a graphic image into an electronic embroidery programme is called “digitising”.
Southern Monograms has made a considerable investment in the most accurate, state of the art digitising package; “Ethos”. We believe that “Ethos” is the best computer package on the market and enables us to give our clients the finest embroidered image possible.
To begin the process of monogram production we require a good quality graphic, ideally PC format .jpg / .tif /.gif /.bmp we can work from correctly formatted vector files too. If these files are not available we can work from good quality printed formats. All art provided must contain a true representation of the colours required or PMS / Pantone colour references.
Once we have your artwork we can produce a quote that includes :
- Set-up cost (one off) for digitising the image into an embroidery programme
- Cost per unit (gauged off the total amount of stitches in the design)
- A list of garments and / or caps etc detailing colours, sizes and prices
- Your contact details
- Any details requiring verification
We require signed acceptance of all quotes prior to producing any work including pre-production samples.
Once the programme has been set-up an electronic proof will be produced for viewing, any alterations are to be specified at this stage. Again a confirmation is required before continuing the production process.
